Switching Careers into Osteopathy from Non-Health
One third of CAO students switch careers from a non-health career. Our PREP/Anatomy course is designed with you in mind, so you can start the program prepared! Whether you are coming from university, college, or life long experience in the work force, we have a pathway for you! The CAO does not ‘gatekeep’ osteopathy! CAOt students come from all walks of life!
CAO Graduates are well known for being highly trained! This is why they get full insurance billing privileges through OSTCAN and often have full practices within 6 months! Our non-health pathway will get you there, with lots of support and guidance.
The CAO trains in Principles-based osteopathy which is high level (not entry level) osteopathy. You will be able to help patients in ways other modalities can’t. Our grads make their own schedules and earn well because of their high level of skill.
The CAO’s Admissions process is very personal! Unlike universities or colleges you won’t have to speak to a series of people and departments to get the information you need. Instead, we have personal consultations with every applicant, and guide them through the process every step of the way!
