Are you currently working in a career outside the healthcare field, but would like to transition into osteopathy?

If you are looking to change careers from a non-health background you will need to take a college level anatomy prerequisite course before coming to us and we can point you in the right direction to do that. Once you have that under your belt , we have special tutorials you can opt in to so you can solidify that knowledge before entering year 1.  Just read what Nga, former marketing professional had to say about switching careers with the CAO:

My experience at The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy has been incredibly rewarding. I’m honored to be part of the program that is principle-based instead of technique-driven. The passionate faculty demonstrates the highest level of integrity by teaching the core insights of osteopathy as originally intended by Dr. Still. They’re truly committed to shaping the critical thinking skills of their students rather than producing mediocre graduates who don’t really have a solid grasp of human physiology and functional anatomy. If you’re looking for a fulfilling career in alternative health care and understand the value of helping others in your community, this is the place you should be.

The CAO designation of M. OMSc is a graduate diploma and not a degree. In Canada, only universities are sanctioned to grant degrees. Osteopathy is not offered in Canadian universities and osteopathic schools in Canada are private colleges.
